Dangerous Goods Group A: Virtual Training
This course is for the shipper and packer of dangerous goods, the cargo agent, the freight forwarder and operators’ dangerous goods acceptance personnel (Categories 1, 2, 3, and 6 from the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations Table 1.5.A).
It is designed to be used in conjunction with the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations to familiarize the student with the various sections and how to apply them.
it is also a SACAA accredited course that meet the training requirements for personnel listed in Category 6 as per Table 1.5.A of the IATA DGR.
The Dangerous Goods Category 6 – Cabin Crew, Passenger Handling and Security Screening Personnel training is a, 5-day course for initial and 3-day course for refresher. This includes course materials, assessments, instructor guidance and support.
Learners will require a device that can make use of video camera and microphone capabilities. All forms and assessments are completed using online forms. Course materials will be sent 2-days prior to the course. Learners will be able to interact with the facilitator and get real time feedback.
Upon competency learners are awarded a CAA Accredited Certificate of Competency. This certificate is valid for a period of 24-months as per SACAA requirements. Refresher courses should be booked 30-days prior to expiration.

Dangerous Goods Group B – Non-DG Cargo acceptance personnel: Virtual Training
This course is designed for personnel accepting general cargo, other than dangerous goods, employed by or working on behalf of operators, freight forwarders, cargo agents and agencies acting on behalf of operators (Categories 4, 7 from the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations Table 1.5.A).
All of these personnel need to have a knowledge and understanding of dangerous goods, their potential hazards and the procedures applicable to the transport of dangerous goods by air.
The Dangerous Goods Group B – Non-DG Cargo acceptance personnel training is a 1-day course and includes

The Dangerous Goods Group C – Pilots, Load controllers, Flight Operations course is designed for flight crew, flight dispatchers and for personnel responsible for determining the appropriate loading positions in aircraft cargo compartments for dangerous goods shipments (load planners/load masters).
All of these personnel need to have a knowledge and understanding of dangerous goods, their potential hazards and the procedures applicable to the transport of dangerous goods by air.
